Bringing 15 year old grandson and 11 year old granddaughter to your show at Kuumbwa. Age appropriate? They are very mature. We all work with our family business, Snazzy Productions. We are producing David Lindley's show tonight at the Kuumbwa.
I don't like to tell people what is ok for their kids because that is a personal choice. Everyone has a different line.
I won't be swearing in my act but sometimes my humor is a bit too cerebral for a kid to understand. Hope that helps.
I saw your show last year with my son that is majoring in Biology - he (and I) both find you hilarious. Will the show this year in Somerville be new material or is it part of the original tour? Sorry if this is an awkward question, but my son may schedule a weekend back home from college if it's part of a new tour!
It will be a mix of new and old material.
Wish we were in Santa Cruz so we could see you at Kuumbwa. Oh well, we live 2000 miles south, where it's warm (right now) at 10:30pm. Question: Have you read The Dialectical Biologist by Richard Levins and Richard Lewontin? It's be fantastic to get your take. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Dialectical_Biologist
I haven't had a chance to read it yet. I'll have to put that on my to read list :)
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for letting me know!
Hi Tim. I've purchased tickets to come to your show in Atlanta this January. Then I went back and purchased an additional ticket for a friend. I understand from the theater that your company arranges the seating. Will we be able to choose our own seats? Thanks!
Yes, you will be able to choose your own seats.
Everyone has a different standard about what is appropriate for their kids so I can only offer guidelines.
I don't use foul language during my act.
Kids are welcome.
Having said that, a lot of my humor goes over the heads of little kids.
Hope that helps!
